Never having been content with taking the easy route, Melissa’s life has been a series of adventures, with the occasional nosedive.  Amidst an unwanted divorce, caring for four children while being displaced from her apartment (the p.c. way to say “homeless”), followed by an epic road trip with the hopes of landing upright, life has been a process of navigating one roadblock after another.  Put another way, life has been about calling DO-OVER when life hasn’t quite turned out as planned.

Melissa is an author, blogger, entrepreneur and mother to four amazing kids.  She was a D1 soccer player at UPenn, holds a black belt in Isshinryu karate and is a Scuba instructor.  (one of these facts is a lie — kudos if you can figure out which one)
